1. Services Offered

Scriptly provides services including, but not limited to:

• Book publishing (print and/or digital)
• Editing, formatting, and cover design
• ISBN and copyright assistance
• Printing and distribution support
• Marketing, advertising, and promotional services
• Author consulting and publishing guidance

The scope of services depends on the selected package or written agreement.

2. Author Responsibilities

By submitting content to Scriptly, the author confirms that:

• The work is original or legally owned by them
• The content does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
• The content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or offensive material

The author bears full responsibility for the content provided.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

• Authors retain full ownership of their work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Scriptly is granted a non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, print, and promote the work as per the agreed services.
• All designs, layouts, and promotional materials created by Scriptly remain its intellectual property unless explicitly transferred in writing.

4. Payments & Fees

• All payments must be made according to the selected package or issued invoice.
• Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Delayed or incomplete payments may result in suspension or termination of services.
• Any applicable taxes, transaction fees, or bank charges are the responsibility of the client.

5. Advertising & Marketing

• Marketing and advertising services are offered on a best-effort basis.
• Scriptly does not guarantee book sales, rankings, reviews, or revenue.
• Advertising platforms and marketplaces operate under their own policies, which are beyond our control.
• Any paid advertising will be executed strictly within the agreed budget and duration.

6. Royalties & Sales (If Applicable)

• Royalty terms, if applicable, will be defined separately in a written agreement.
• Sales data and reports are based on information provided by third-party distributors.
• Scriptly is not responsible for reporting delays or discrepancies caused by external platforms.

7. Third-Party Services

Scriptly may work with third-party vendors for printing, distribution, marketing, or digital platforms. We are not responsible for delays, errors, or service failures caused by such third parties.

8. Content Review & Approvals

• Authors are responsible for reviewing and approving final files before publication or printing.
• Any changes requested after approval may incur additional charges.
• Scriptly is not liable for errors that were approved by the author.

9. Limitation of Liability

Scriptly shall not be liable for:

• Loss of sales, income, or reputation
• Changes in platform policies or third-party service restrictions
• Delays caused by technical, logistical, or external factors

Any liability, if applicable, shall not exceed the total amount paid to Scriptly for the specific service.

10. Termination of Services

Scriptly reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if:

• False or misleading information is provided
• Payments are not made as agreed
• Content violates legal, ethical, or professional standards

Termination does not eliminate any outstanding payment obligations.

11. Privacy & Confidentiality

All personal and project-related information shared with Scriptly will be kept confidential and used solely for service-related purposes. We do not sell or misuse client data.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

13. Updates to Terms

Scriptly may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
